Financial Reporting Senior Associate

We're looking for someone who has significant exposure to financial reporting for alternative investment funds and is excited to help expand an industry-leading service offering up.
Your key responsibilities are to deliver white glove service and honor the FSG Principles while:
- Draft, prepare, and document accurate fund financial statements for investment funds
- Contribute significantly to the automation and implementation of scalable processes and identify opportunities to improve reporting through technology and operational efficiencies, supporting timely and accurate fund financial reporting
- Play a significant role in regulatory and compliance filing
- Play a significant role in implementing and enhancing controls over the financial reporting process
- Support team members with strong commitment to quality, accountability, and client service
- Stay current on FASB reporting requirements and best practices and incorporate relevant changes into client financial reporting
- Coordinate with clients, auditors, counsel, and internal teams to deliver complete, accurate and timely reporting and filings
Our requirements for you as an applicant are simple:
- 3 - 7 years of hands-on experience preparing investment fund financial statements
- Experience with investment funds or SEC filings for registered investment companies
- Experience implementing and improving processes that enhance quality, consistency, and efficiency
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement presentation
- Strong data management skills, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to participate on projects and make sound decisions with appropriate guidance and team coordination
- A passion for learning, improving processes, supporting team members, and helping others succeed
- Commitment to understanding, problem-solving, and asking the extra question that leads to better outcomes
- Exceptional written communication skills and an exacting attention to detail
- Proficiency in prioritization and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with fund administration software a plus but not a requirement

- Base salary commensurate with experience and success: The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000
- Quarterly bonus that offers unlimited potential growth - 1/3rd of our profits (no matter how much) are shared with our team in bonuses each quarter
We are primarily a remote work company, but some of the training for this role may be best delivered in-person leveraging client sites or local coworking locations. Our clients also ask us to provide on-site support from time-to-time. In the interview process, we can outline expectations about what, if any, in-person training or support time is expected to be required for this role.
