Fund Administration Associate

Fund Administration Associate

Your key responsibilities are to deliver white glove service and honor the FSG Principles while:
- Assisting with recording basic accounting entries and learning how to work with both cash and accrual activity
- Supporting the team in tracking investment activity and helping prepare performance reports
- Reconciling cash balances and assisting in identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Helping prepare schedules for management fees, allocations, and other fund-related calculations
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, investor notices, and tax schedules
- Collaborating with colleagues and third-party providers such as auditors and tax teams
- Participating in team learning opportunities and supporting onboarding of future hire
Our requirements for you as an applicant are simple:
- A degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field (or equivalent coursework/experience)
- A basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP knowledge is a plus, but not required)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and professional written communication
- Willingness to learn fund concepts like fees, capital activities, and industry best practices
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Interest in learning fund administration software (training will be provided)

- Base salary commensurate with experience and success: The annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000
- Quarterly bonus that offers unlimited potential growth - 1/3rd of our profits (no matter how much) are shared with our team in bonuses each quarter
We are primarily a remote work company, but some of the training for this role may be best delivered in-person leveraging client sites or local coworking locations. Our clients also ask us to provide on-site support from time-to-time. In the interview process, we can outline expectations about what, if any, in-person training or support time is expected to be required for this role.
